Oktoberfest - Munich comes to Hose!

A special night at Hose Village Hall is guaranteed!
Munich’s Oktoberfest celebration is huge, but we are creating our own version in Hose. The evening will feature Karl’s Bavarian Brass Oompah Band – one of the best around, with a 20 year history of entertaining audiences and encouraging participation.
There’ll be drinks, including fine beers of course, and fancy dress – lederhosen, braces, dirndls, milkmaid outfits, pigtails, you know the sort of thing!
Doors at 7.00pm.

Young Elton
the tribute show

Supported by the fabulous Danielle, Tom Weston’s certainly lived up to his reputation as one of the finest Elton John tribute acts around when he appeared with his band at the Hose Village Hall in July 2025. It was his second Hosenbury booking having played a wonderful gig at Hose Church in January 2024. These were lively nights of pure, nostalgic joy with much dancing and singing along with Tom starring on piano and when backed by his amazing band.

Lisa Everton, aka "Mrs Winehouse" was the star of this amazing show, singing the great songs of Amy Winehouse and others, with dancing in the aisles!

we had a full house and a full dance floor for Top tribute act 'Could It Be Magic' really got the party started, performing the great songs of Take That and The Jersey Boys.

​ In October 2024, Mervyn Stutter provided an evening of laughter and entertainment in the lovely setting of Hose Church. Mervyn is well known as a comedian, script writer, actor, director, musician, member of ‘The Flying Pickets’, and regular host for over 30 years of the legendary ‘Pick of the Fringe’ show at the Edinburgh Festival.
