FESTIVAL DATES AND TIMES
2ND JULY 2022
12PM - 12AM

Q. I can’t make the new date, can I get a refund?

A. If you purchased a ticket prior to 14/06/22 and are unable to attend the event on the new date, you will be able to claim a full refund provided you request this within 30 days of the email being sent out on 02/07/21.

Q. I am unable to attend due to Covid, can I get a refund?

A. If you have been advised to isolate by the NHS track and trace app, and therefore have a legal obligation to do so, you will be able to request a refund provided you can show evidence of this. Due to the charitable nature of the event, we will offer you the option of a partial refund allowing you to make a donation to the causes supported by Hosenbury, however this will be voluntary.

Q. My plans have changed and I can no longer attend the event, can I get a refund?

A. If you can no longer attend the event for reasons that are not due to Covid and/or the change of date, we will not be able to offer you a refund.

Q. Can I park at the event?

A. Some parking will be available at Hosenbury. To guarantee a space you are advised to prebook parking along with your tickets using Eventbrite. Parking may still be available on the day on a first come, first serve basis.

Q. Can I leave my car over-night?

A. The village hall where the event takes place is private property. Hosenbury has hired the venue until 00:01 Sunday 15th August and once the event has been cleared the gates will be locked. If you do leave your car overnight, this will be at your own risk and you will need to arrange to collect your vehicle with a member of the Hose Village Hall Committee who will be able to allow you access to the field.

Q. Can I bring a picnic?

A. Catering will be available on the day – we have a pizza van and a fish and chip van attending the event, as well as other snacks and treats. However you are able to bring a picnic if you so wish; we would encourage you to take any litter home with you or use the waste and/or recycling bins provided on the day.

Q. Can I bring my own alcohol?

A. No. We have a zero-tolerance policy with regards to bringing alcohol to the event. Any alcohol found will be confiscated. If you dispute this, you run the risk of being refused entry to the event. We will have security on the gate conducting bag searches. Bringing alcohol to the event not only jeopardises our licence and our ability to run the event now and, in the future, it is also dangerous as glass bottles may be broken causing a risk other attendees. Please remember this is a family event and we want everyone to have a great time in as safe a way as possible.

Q. Is the event inside?

A. No the event will take place outside. We have a covered stage and bar area and inside toilet facilities. Refunds will not be available for bad weather unless the decision is taken by the committee to cancel the event.

Q. Can I buy tickets on the day?

A. Tickets will most likely be available on the day, if we haven’t sold out in the run up to the event. Tickets on the gate will be £22.50.

Q. Do I have to bring cash?

A. We will be able to take cash and card payments.

Q. Can I camp?

A. Camping tickets are available via Eventbrite and will need to be booked in advance. The no alcohol rule will apply to campers. We also do not permit campfires and/or BBQs.

Q. Are dogs allowed?

A. Service and well-behaved dogs are allowed at the event. Please consider noise levels and the number of people if you do decide to bring your dog. They should be kept on a lead and you will also need to pick up any waste so that it is not left on the field.

Q. What should I bring to the event?

A. Your printed ticket or the code in your email confirmation. Make sure you come prepared for the weather - hopefully sun cream, sun hats and sunglasses but possibly waterproofs and wellies! Cash or card to purchase food and drink. ID will be required to purchase alcohol, especially if you’re lucky enough to look under 21. Camping chairs or a picnic blanket. A plan for how you will get home! Hose is in the countryside and while there are some public transport links to Melton and Bottesford, these do not run late.
